Creating effective and happy teams
Many of our clients ask us to work directly with just one of their teams to help them be more effective. The effects are so positive that they then ask us to do the same with other teams in their organisation. We work with leaders who need to ‘turn around’ a failing team, who are setting up a new team and want to get off to a great start and with leaders who simply feel that their team could benefit from a refresh, a refocus and a renewal.

There is never one way to do this type of work - so we always start by seeking to understand your situation and your goals. Then we propose a solution that fits your budget. Typically, we find that teams can improve their effectiveness by working on three key factors:
• Clarity - the degree to which the whole team have a common understanding of their purpose, mission, objectives and priorities. Most teams don’t, and that’s a major obstacle.
• Alignment - even when there is a common goal, we find that the plans and actions of each individual often conflict with each other. This is probably the toughest issue to deal with - but we’ve developed some great ways to overcome this.
• Behaviour - the relationships between team members and between the team and other stakeholders underpin team performance. We help all members of the team be more self-aware and develop greater flexibility in their behaviour with each other.
